This morning we received another donation of $1,100 from the same generous donor who contributed $3,900 earlier in the week. This means that with the committed matching funds of $1,500 added to the total, that puts our Advertising Fund total at $7,980.11. Thank you for your donations!

Update on Salt Lake Tribune ad fund
Posted on 11/18/2007   -  Number of comments: 0
We've been advised that our money would be better spent on several smaller ads, such as four quarter page ad, instead of one full page ad, so we've decided to do just that. We're working through some details with the Trib advertising department and will have a sample ad posted soon, along with the cost per ad. Thanks for your patience and support!

Full page color ad in the Salt Lake Tribune!

Our management team has decided that our next public awareness project will be a full-page, full color, ad in the Sunday edition of the Salt Lake Tribune. Cost for the ad is $7,000, but oh how it will get noticed!

Billboard #5: Salt Lake City!!!
Posted on 07/14/2007   -  Number of comments: 13
(Note: We now have the funds for billboard #5. THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATIONS!!. Billboard #5 is now up. You can see photos of it at this link.)

Recently I was contacted by a new sign company we'd not worked with yet. They said they want our business and would make us a great deal in order to get it. What a refreshing change! In order to get our business they've made us an offer on one of the monster size billboards in the Salt Lake area. This one is located on a main artery in North Salt Lake, is illuminated at night, and they're giving to us for 6 weeks (not just the typical 4) for just $2,045. It's an opportunity we can't pass up! Reagan Outdoor charges around $10,000 for the same size in a similar type of location.

Billboard #4, St. George, is now funded! Want to know what’s next?

Many thanks to all of you who have supported our billboard program with your donations! In about three weeks #3 will go up in the Provo/Orem area and #4 is scheduled to go up in St. George in October.

Our Board of Trustees is meeting on June 23rd and one of the items for discussion will be where future billboards will go. We will announce the schedule the following week. Until then, we are still accepting donations for future billboards. Please contribute to the fund if you can.

We’re now accepting donations for billboard #4 in St. George

Billboard #1 has come and gone in Logan, billboard #2 will go up in Idaho Falls on May 25th, and billboard #3 is now funded and will go up somewhere in the Provo/Orem area on July 9th. The cost of the Idaho Falls and Provo billboards together are considerably less than initial projections. Because of that we have nearly half the amount of billboard #4 funded already! Please contribute what you can to help fund the other half and to fund more billboards in the future.

If you're someone who is able and interested in contributing large amounts ($1,000 $5,000 $10,000 +) to help us maintain an ongoing public awareness program, please contact me at: . The Post-Mormon Community is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Click here for more details.
