SoUtPostMormon Lecture series January 6th 2013- Examining the Book of Mormon geography models

Posted by skeptic on January 01, 2013

Since publication of the Book of Mormon, there has been speculation on the location of the book’s geography.  Traditionally, it has been accepted that the book’s geography encompassed the North and South American continents as well as the Polynesian Islands.  More recently, it has been suggested that the geography was limited to areas in Central America or in the USA. It has been proposed that DNA science sheds light on this question.  The strengths and weaknesses of the evidence supporting each of the proposed geographic models will be examined.

January's lecture will be by PostMormon.org's Tapir Whisper.  His presentations to be thoroughly researched and given in a non-biased and scholarly way.

The lecture will be Sunday January 6th 2 PM at the New Lexington Hotel, 850 S. Bluff St. St. George Utah
