Post Mos in the Park

Posted by Gypsy Soul on August 07, 2010

Was so good to see some of you at the Prop 8 documentary viewing at Cindy's... and great news that it got overturned this week!

Anyhoo, before the summer gets gone, lets get together for a BBQ/picnic! I'm thinking Saturday the 14th or the 21st. Let me know which works better for you (or if Sunday's are better). I'll bring the KFC and ice if everyone else brings something to share and your own beer/soda whatever. Lawn games are encouraged. Park/location TBA.
See you soon!

March Post-Mo Event Details

Posted by Gypsy Soul on March 22, 2010

Here are the details for our Post-Mo event this Sunday. JustThinkin has been kind enough to offer to host the event. I was thinking it would be fun for each of us to make something we learned to cook while abroad (school, business, mission?) or an old family recipe. An international buffet, if you will. I studied in France and learned how to make bechemel sauce from the family I stayed with. Expect pasta with cheesy sauce and red wine from me!

When: 1 p.m. Sunday March 28
Where: Andover, MN (email me for address)
Who: Youse guys
How: By any means necessary

Why: Cause TC Post-Mos can't stop a-rockin

Back to business…

Posted by Gypsy Soul on March 16, 2010

We had a tiny get-together in January, but it's time to get the band back together. The TC Post Mo event will be held Sunday, for a brunchy-lunchy thing, March 28. Will likely be at my house... the weather has been good, and I have a great three season porch. If you are a newbie, you are welcome! We have a great crew. Just email me... I am quite open about my postmo-ness but am not likely to post my home address online. smile

Everyone within driving distance is welcome!

December Event ROCKED

Posted by Gypsy Soul on December 20, 2009

I guess it's hard to sell brunch as rockin' but we had a great time with some good discussions and great food. The white elephant gift exhange (comprising only free non-essential items) was a hit... winners received the BofM on tape, a Hinkley book and food storage tins, along with other pointless items.

We are planning to create a set time each month to meet now... details to follow. Merry Christmas!

November Post-Mo Gathering…

Posted by Gypsy Soul on October 08, 2009

So it looks like Nov. 8 will be the date of our next gathering - likely in Richfield or a southern Minneapolis suburb of some sort. Since it's a Sunday, I'm thinking an early start so we can all get home at a decent hour. Maybe 2-3 p.m.? I was thinking a potluck, but that kinda gives me flashbacks and the creeps... I'm open to suggestions.

A tapas party perhaps?

Any newbies feel free to email me about the details!

Great turnout in Sept…. now Nov!

Posted by Gypsy Soul on October 05, 2009

Great turnout for our Sept. Twin Cities Post-Mo gathering. Great discussions...

Next event, first week in November. I'm thinking either Saturday or Sunday afternoon for a BBQ perhaps hosted by Meg and Kev? Wishful thinking? smile
