I'm sorry.
Everytime I start to post...I get scared to death that I will be discovered.
I recently tried to address my "confusion" with my TBM spouse.
It didn't go well...
In order to keep any kind of peace in my marriage and family, I have to just suck it up for a while longer.

There are thousands in your shoes, Cornfused...don't feel alone. Keep posting.
You will find the fear eventually goes away, and you get stronger.

”I’ve begun worshiping the sun for a number of reasons. First of all, unlike some other gods I could mention, I can see the sun. It’s there for me every day. And the things it brings me are quite apparent all the time: heat, light, food, a lovely day. There’s no mystery, no one asks for money, I don’t have to dress up, and there’s no boring pageantry. And interestingly enough, I have found that the prayers I offer to the sun and the prayers I formerly offered to God are all answered at about the same 50-percent rate.” George Carlin

So sorry to hear this Cornfused. It must be very frustrating to want to talk and feel that you can't because you are "scared to death" that you will be discovered.

Mormonism, it seems to me, is—objectively—just a little more idiotic than Christianity is. It has to be: because it is Christianity plus some very stupid ideas.

I was in your shoes last year. Now DH is still "in" the Church, but we are open and talk constantly about TSCC. Give it time and patientce. A year ago I would have NEVER said that we would be where we are now (DH is on his way out.) I never would have thought my DH would start to listen. Good luck and hang in there.

Even "I-shouldn't-have-raised-my-hand" threads get action here, Cornfused. Perhaps I should say, especially such threads get action/attention here.
Breathe slowly, take the steps you need to in order to remain anonymous... there are LOTS of people here who can and are ready to help, if possible.
Meanwhile... lurk your guts out. Who knows? Maybe someone else is having the same trouble you are and you can get suggestions you can use.
We're mostly harmless here... spanking posts notwithstanding.

The above post is merely the experience, observation and perspective of a NeverMo, offered in support of the members of PostMormon.org
“Religion is for those of fear Hell… Spirituality is for those of us who have been through it.”
“Spiritual life is fed by our experience on every level of life, not by fantasies of religious purity. For you are not yet that, and you cannot make a beginning until you accept yourself, as low and as high as you are.” — Curmudgeon
