Oh my, I just read the comment section, there are 67 of them at the moment--the troops have been deployed, they are not going to let this article go unanswered. Why even bother posting a comment, all the commenters are doing is convincing each other how "right" they are and how "smart" they are and how "righteous" they are. Any outsider reading this comment thread will just see how crazy everyone has become. It all leaves me with a pit in my stomach of the "us against them" mentality that the church is engendering. Everyone needs to chill for a while and read something by the Dalai Lama. Weird, weird, weird--not a good reflection on the "I'm a Mormons"
Ooogh. I can't even look any longer. There are some trains wrecks you can turn away from. I just get at once deeply embarrassed and deeply angry if I read that stuff. This campaign has brought out the worst in Mormonism. Ironic when you consider how they thought a Mormon running for office would make Mormonism more acceptable -- not more crazy defensive.
Peggy (the woman who wrote the article) is my aunt. I love how unbiased her writing is; it is impossible to tell if she believes or not. (She does, by the way.)

A runaway downhill train is a fabulous mental image to help try and capture where this whole thing might be headed fairly quickly. Whoo-whoo, Whoo-whoo!
Perhaps, if while pretending people are idiots, what's the worst that could happen?
Someone should post over there ....Google "Lying for the lord"
Mormons hate when they google that
Don't fear the Google, it's the new pioneer Mormon trail leading to the land of cherished promise and freedom. You're almost there, you goofs! (not you WIW)
Among many of the high quality materials in the slew of excellent items found.

If your Aunt Peggy is a believer, she has a very unorthodox way of showing it!

Hat's off to your aunt. I've read several of her articles, and she seems like a good, solid journalist.

I've been wondering if she was beleiver or not. She obviously is not your traditional believing member but I wasn't sure if she beleived at all.
Anyone else's in you family trouble-makers besides you and Aunt Peggy? Maybe it's genetic thing.

Yes, three cousins (out of over 50). I think I'm the only one in the history of our pioneer heritage to actually resign, though. Brigham Young is our great x6 grandfather.
