How about LDS letterhead from First Presidency sent out to some with the heading of "Posthumous Exommunication for the Dead"?
Brother so & so, we, the leaders of LDS,inc do hereby posthumously excommunicate Bro/Sis So&So, your great, great paternan Grandfather/Granmother for activities not in accordance with The Gospel as we now believe it. They are now considered Apostates"... or some such.
Do some and send them to a few dozen in your ward and watch the sparks fly,.
What kills me about this is that any mormon who sees it will be offended, and they won't get that THAT IS THE POINT! What they do by baptising other people's ancestors is every bit as offensive to them as any offense they feel from Bill Maher.

The BofM teaches that the same spirit that occupies your sould on earth will do so after death. Someone needs to inform the church is this discrepancy between the BofM and current church practice. Surely they would want to rectify this inconsistency.

I forget the exact BoM reference, but this is something we discussed at length in my TBM past. Man, I remember we had ALL the answers! And I remember thinking how logical the 'truth' was...
We knew that the attitude you have when you die, that's the attitude you'll have when you 'cross over'. And the transition from mortality to the 'spirit prison' will be so seamless that your attitude won't be changed; you won't be 'impressed' with what is happening to you, and you'll be with people just like you, so that there's no pressure to change. People from the paradise section (a gated community) will come to preach to you, but you'll have just as easy a time rejecting the message as you did here on earth.
And I remember we were taught/we knew, that virutally the same thing will happen on earth at the second coming. There are lots of people here on earth who will survive the apocalypse and when Jesus returns to reign, they won't really know it's Him; they're won't be mass conversions, they won't immediately bend a knee.
