Record Setting Day!

We Have Our First Donation!
This news weblog was created as a way to help keep members informed about any news pertaining to our budding community. During Christmas and New Years week, in addition to having fun with the family I’ll be focusing on finalizing a few details on the website database system that have taken much more time than I would have liked. There are actually three separate databases that have required some custom software to get them to speak to each other agreeably. At times I’ve felt like a marriage counselor in a polygamous relationship! But everyone seems to be happy now. One database manages the data and articles of the magazine, one the discussion forums and the main one manages the overall membership data as well interfaces nicely with credit card, PayPal and other pay systems that will be used once we are ready to open our doors as a non-profit organization and start receiving donations.
