Website changes

With the prospect of many new people coming to the site over the next month I’ve added a couple of new pages that are intended to encourage donations. I’ve also made changes to the main menu system above. 1. I’ve eliminated the Miscellaneous menu item because it never found much use, and any miscellaneous page that needs to be added to the site can be added in the Encyclopedia. 2. I’ve also consolidated the Donations page and the Billboards page into what is now the Our Advertising page. So click on the Our Advertising menu item at the top of this page and you’ll see the new stuff.

Website Updates

Over the last few days I’ve made a few changes to the website. We now have the ability to choose between three different discussion forum editors by selecting one using the new drop-down box at the bottom of your Edit Profile page. If the Recommended Editor is working for you then I recommend not changing but for some people (like dogzilla ) who use Macs, the new editor might not work. If that’s the case try one of the other two editors. Click here for more details on what the editors should look like and on what your options are.

The new Post-Mormon Magazine

Check out the new Post-Mormon Magazine! It’s found under the “Magazines” menu link at the top of this page. It has been reformatted to fit with the new website design, and it includes some new content. Articles are now displayed in a two-column format to make them easier to read.

Trish Throne, who posts as trish08830, is the new Managing Editor of the Magazine. Trish has professional experience designing and managing magazines so I’m totally psyched to have her taking over the magazine! Work on a new Feature Article will be starting soon and new submissions will be published as they are submitted and reviewed.

If you are a good writer and have written anything that you think would be of interest to former Mormons please submit it to Trish by clicking on the Managing Editor link at the top of the Magazine “Front Cover.”
