The five bank service fees are $15 dollars each, and happen each month.  The bank used to service our account for free. That changed in January. I’m going to find another bank that will give us a free checking account.  I’m told that Zion’s Bank doesn’t charge the service fee.  Should I or shouldn’t I?  What a dilemma. smile

I should explain the $151.99 correction expenditure and deposit.  I screwed up when in a hurry and I grabbed the wrong checkbook again out of my briefcase when I paid a non-PostMo bill.  After I realized it when I got the bank statement I made a deposit from my personal account to cover it.  I hate when that happens!  It’s embarrassing.  I thought that the steps I’d taken to prevent that would prevent that. Obviously not.

Jeff,
I’m wondering if your bank charges for mailed statements like mine in Indiana does. I went in to close a couple of accounts last week because of new service fees and they told me that there would be no fee IF I just got online statements. May it’s the same there?
