PostMormon.org has two billboards in the Boise Idaho area.
During the month of December, PostMormon.org had two billboards up in the Boise area. These are billboards #9 and #10.
Woohooo! We got two billboards for the price of one this time! Below is a photo of each one. The first one is in Meridian, the second one in Nampa.

Comments:
yes! yes! yes! The sign in Nampa led me to your wonderful website… means a lot to me…pattyjo |

Thank you everyone for donating. |
Pattyjo, “means a lot to me…” means a lot to me. Thanks. |
Saw it today, that’s why I’m here. I was at exmormon.org but everyone there is rather hostile lol |
Today’s the last day for our billboards to be up in Boise. We contracted for 30 days. They might be up for longer than that—at least one of them. It depends of whether the sign company has another customer lined up yet for the location. You folks in the Boise area, please let me know what the status is (up or gone) if you happen to drive by them. |
Jeff, |
The Meridian sign was still up as of last Sunday (1/10/09) |
Due to a screw up on my part, we get two months of billboard advertising in Boise. That’s the good news. The bad news is we also have to pay for two months, not one month as we had originally budgeted. We still got a great deal on our billboard advertising in the Boise area and we still have enough money in our account for another billboard project in another area. |
This is awesome! I don’t travel by Meridian or Nampa much but other people in my Boise Non-theist email list forwarded this to me. This is such a great resource, thank you guys so much! |
I am so happy to have found this site. My boyfriend drove past the billboard yesterday and wrote down the address. I had NO idea there were so many people out there like me!!! I’m pretty blown away this morning. |
The billboard on Garrity Ave. in Nampa is the one that led me to this site. Thank You! |
The billboards are a great idea….and money well spent! Plus…the news stories about the billboards were great “free” adverstising in addition. The news stories are actually what brought me to the site. I new there were lots of us out there, it is just great to have this forum for support, comments, and ideas.!!! “Keep smiling and dreamin’!” |

The billboards was money waisted. and now condemnation upon you. “You think you are happy for leaving the lords true church?” “Guess Again” you are not truly happy. you are putting on a front, and are kidding yourself. Being a member of the LDS church has been the Greatest Blessing in my life. “WHY?” because it is the lords Church. thats why. If you really did study the Bible thoroughly, you would gain a strong testimony of the LDS church. all the teachings in the bible concur with the LDS church. the great thing about the LDS church is, all the Members are not paid to teach or to serve callings. all the members have their own jobs somewhere else. infact my bishop works for the Power company to make his money. |
Infact, i will continue posting Comments on here time after time. you havent seen the last of me. there is more to come. |
Mr. so-called trueservantofthelord has been banned. Apparently he(she?) hasn’t read the posting rules. The part that pertains to him is this: “For Mormons visiting this website, know that you are welcome as long as you respect that this is our home and you are a guest in it. As a guest you are expected to conduct yourself as any guest normally would when visiting someone’s home, even if you don’t agree with some of the things you find during your visit. We find that most Mormons visiting here respect the house rules. If you are one of those who don’t, then don’t be surprised if you are shown the door.” |
By the way, As of yesterday the Fairview billboard was still up. The one in Nampa came down around the first of February. We’ve experience a lot of growth in our Boise chapter due to the billboards. |
Thanks for the update Wendolene! I’ve been wondering if either of the billboards is still up. |
kudos for restricting access to Mr truechurch, now he knows what it feels like to be an “outsider”..Too bad he knows nothing of God’s True Grace. This website has many members for a reason..again, something that mormons know nothing about..HONESTY ! |
Yes, Thank you for the billboards!!... My husband and I were driving into town, and I saw it.. and as soon as I got home I visited this site and joined it.. I have not posted anything yet, but just reading everything and realizing that I am not alone in this.. meant everything to me.. because .. when you are living in the mormon world, but you are a nevermo at heart, it gets very very lonely…... Thank you!! |
When I saw the sign my boyfriend said “you don’t think its a website with a bunch of mormons posting crap do you?” well I am really glad that it is actually a bunch of ex-mormons posting honesty. Great sign! |
I saw the sign the other day, and I thought it was a trick of some kind. So I came home, went on line and there it was. Wow, I spent 2 1/2 hours reading exit stories. We have’nt asked to be removed from church records as of yet, but no longer attend. Too many questions in my mind. Were converts in 1992, in CA. Many differences between there and here. |
Do we STILL have a billboard up in the Boise area?! It was to end last day of January. Sometimes sign companies keep up a billboard if they don’t have a customer lined up behind it—business must be slow for them too. I think this is one thing we can thank the economy for. |
The Boise billboard is down now. I would have to say it was quite successful. We have a a lot of new people join our chapter because of it. |
Thanks for the news Wendolene! In spite of the fact that I couldn’t get anyone with the Idaho State Journal to return my phone calls or emails, and eventually write a story about us, I’d have to say that the Boise billboard project has been one of our most successful ones. The best news is what it’s done for your chapter! |
Thank you for the billboard. They should be renewed and placed in every city in the state. I would have never know there was such a group had it not been for the advertisement. Thank you! |
I used to live in Nampa and Meridian as a kid. Now I live in Texas and can’t wait to see a billboard here. |
I would just like to say that I am a mormon visitor and I am a believer in my faith. I was surprised to find a site like this and to see that there was no hostility, no contention, but support and love. Thank you for not being angry. Not necessarily what “true servant of the Lord” was advocating, I know, but the true mormon creed is to allow ALL ment to worship however and whatever they want. Good luck to each of you in your own journey. May it be a good one. |
Thank you stillaMormon! Yes, the LDS Eleventh Article of Faith states, “We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.” |
