(In the interest of full disclosure, none of these questions has actually ever been asked.  So I guess we should call it an NAQ, but somehow that doesn't have the ring of an FAQ.)

Q:    Who runs this thing, anyway?

A:    12 old white men in Salt Lake City.  Oh, you mean the book club?  Right now, it is being  run by  dbradhud,  plumvillage, Punky's Dilemma,  lizajane, and bee333.

Q:    How do you pick the books?

A:  We tried the peepstone in the hat trick, but all we could see were titles in Reformed Egyptian.  We try and pick a variety of books that might make for interesting postmormon discussion.  General themes are:  mormonism, theism/atheism, critical thinking, and just for fun.  We pick them a couple months in advance so people have time to find a copy.

Q:    Why don't you choose any books I'm interested in?

A:    Best way to bring a book to our attention is to post it in the Suggestions Thread or PM one of us. 

Q:    What if I don't want to buy all these books?

A:    Try your local library.  If they don't have it, see if they can order it through Inter-Library Loan.  Or one of your fellow postmos may be willing to lend you a copy.

Q:    Am I stuck with reading this month's book?

A:    Nope.  Read any of the books in the schedule and post away.  Until Jeff figures out how much bandwidth we are soaking up, we don't plan to close threads for earlier months.
