PEEPSTONES , do they work

On my holiday i read all of Palmers book and was fascinated by some parts of it , especially how they all used peep stones , does anybody know how a peep stone is supposed to work , looking at jacob whitmers eyes , he had been doing lots of peeping , once i have to admit that i was stupid enough to buy a crystall and spend an hour or two , sitting in the woods wondering how it was supposed to show me things , well if you did not already think i was mad , by now you surely will ,,of course , if it really did work you could have all sorts of fun with it and we could find out all sorts of interesting things , for instance , what really happens when two virgins try and make love for the first time , what did sister brown go to confess to the bishop about today , if only i could be a little fly on the wall , and of course we might be shocked to find what everybody really gets up to in bed , it might make sitting together in church a little more awkward , we might start making decisions on who we,re gonna shake hands with and who were not , especially once we,ve seen where it has been , for this reason i have to believe that peepstones don,t work and that for our own good and protection , but in some ways, imagination could be worse than any peepstone , according to scripture , the day will come when all are sins are preached on the housetops , i often wondered if this means all our sordid little sex acts are indeed recorded in heaven and so before being purified , everybody is going to have to have a good look , if this is the case , judgement day is going to be a lot more interesting than anybody cared to mention , so if this is the case i will forwarn you all that i am totaly out of control with my own sin adorned form of sexuality , my favourite motto is , if it doesn,t have anything evil in it isn,t not any good , this means , nice sort of evil that we both really enjoy a whole lot , but a peepstone could be the worlds best sex toy ............if it worked , dam , shine you stupid thing , i command you to shine right now , and show me by the power of gazelom whats happening over at ?????????????

Peepstones work by making the mark believe that peepstones work. Then the peeper can spout off whatever wild thing his imagination presents to him and blame it on the stone. If it doesn't come to pass it must be the stones fault for delivering a faulty message! Blame the stone! :duh The worker of the peepstone could use techniques similar to the cold reading technique of some psychics to pull out "visions" that match the desires of the person the stone is being used to con.

I used my peep stone just the other day to decide which scratch lottery ticket I should buy, and am now $5 richer! I used it last week to decipher which route to take to work, because there is so much road construction in our area at the moment, and I got to work 5 minutes early! Early that same week, I used my peep stone at the grocery store, and found a sale on Diet Coke that I was COMPLETELY unaware of, and saved $1.11. Then last month, I used my peep stone to find out where my wife was, and realized she was right there in the living room...whew!

Sometimes I use my peep stone to find out what's going on in the world. Like about 6 weeks ago, I had heard that Hurricane Katrina had hit New Orleans, and when I checked the peep stone, my spiritual eyes could see the three letters C-N-N, and I had NO idea what that meant. So I flipped on the TV and learned ALL about the hurricane, and only AFTERWARD did I realize I was watching the news channel CNN! Other times, I use the peep stone to keep tabs on my extended family. Like, 7 or 8 months ago, I was checking my peep stone to find out how my sister was doing, and it told me that she would call. She didn't, but last week I called her, and it worked out all the same, and she's fine!

And right now, I'm checking to see what my peep stone says about this post, and it is telling me to hurry and hit the "submit reply" button before this gets any sillier...

I thought you used your peepstone to create your hilarious satire!

If that one ever breaks, I recall seeing some real purty stones at the Yellowstone Lodge giftshop you might want to try. :D
