"This is an announcement of an Exmo get-together at the Brooklyn Museum, in Brooklyn, New York on the First Saturday of November. All exmormons/post-mormons/jack-mormons/doubting-mormons on the United States East Coast are invited. (Fully active, truly believing, preachy and self-righteous Mormons are not formally excluded from the event, although we reserve the right to leave you at the Visitor's Center. )
Why the Brooklyn Museum on Saturday November 5 2005? Well, 'First Saturdays' at the museum are AMAZINGLY cool... In this case it's the perfect transition from our mockery of reformed egyptian and horses in America, into true celebration of our exmo status. Check it out:

On Saturday November 5, we will meet twice at the Entrance Pavillion, at the big triple-door entrance there... Once at high-noon (12:00pm) for those who want a long visit at the museum (or the botanical garden, surrounding parks, city, etc) throughout the afternoon, and another at 5:00pm to meet again and grab dinner and tickets (there's several neat events and they require tickets in advance) and then enjoy the nighttime entertainment (yes, right there at the museum!)
For general information on the Brooklyn Museum, see:

Please post here, or mail me at datahavok@hotmail.com to confirm your participation. Mail or not, I plan to move forward with this event if it's just me standing there (twice) waiting for people in a blizzard, but it would be nice to know who's going, so I hope to hear back from you.
Regards,
