Shawn King on Howard Stern

This morning, Howard Stern interviewed Larry King's wife, Shawn King... who is a Mormon.

Howard REALLY hit the topic of garments pretty hard. Howard, Robin and Artie were all making jokes about the "Magic Mormon Underwear", saying the funniest things and basically making them look so dumb.

Meanwhile, in the green-room, Shawn King's father was waiting for her, listening to the show... FURIOUS! He was pacing around, making angry noises, and asked Ronnie the Limo Driver when it would be over. Ronnie reported that her father was really upset about all the garment jokes.

Robin called them "vestitures". Howard really tried to pin her down on exactly what makes them so special or different or magic, asking if they give you special, sexual powers and stuff.

The good Sister King kept repeating the old mantra... "They're not MAGIC.... just very, very SACRED. Very sacred." Everybody was getting a good laugh.

After the interview, Ronnie reported that Shawn King's father was yelling at her in the hallway as they were leaving and being a real jackass.

~~THE IRONY~~

After it was all said and done, it was learned that Shawn King doesn't even wear garments. In fact, when she bent over to pick something up, Howard and Benji both remarked that the top of her thong (white with gold trim) was plainly visible. Howard pointed out that Shawn King doesn't even wear the Magic Garments, and was caught wearing "sexy slutwear" instead.

I would love to have heard that. I think Stern is hilarious.

As for her father. All I can say is, hey man don't get your garments in a bundle. :cool:

The church really needs to come out with a thong garment. They could be white with the marks in the front. They could sell them at the Deseret garment stores.

The Celestial Thong. ;)

When my husband and I raise our arm to the square we like to know we are wearing the regulation thong. It is also a little more fun later. :cool:

This was discussed during the show. Howard asked if oral sex was OK for Mormons and Shawn said that whatever goes on the privacy of the bedroom is OK. Later there was a question about whether it was OK for her to pleasure herself and she said yes.
