Why is it that a wife is not allowed to know her husbands secret name that he receives in the temple? Is it that where the husband knowing his wife’s name can change his mind and not call his wife from the grave? Now that I have resigned my membership my TBM wife is worried that she will not be called from the grave. Anyone know the church’s official doctrine on this?

She will hear her named called up when all the other ladies who had their endowments taken out on the same day as her are called. So no worries. :Crazy:

I'm no expert, but I think that no matter how good she's been, she can't just go waltzing into the top CK level on her own. She must be brought in by someone who knows her secret name and has a penis.
But not to worry. God, in his infinite wisdom, will provide a way to get around this. He will arrange for some guy to get her name, call her forth, and, oh yeah, spend eternity with her. She needn't worry about the details. Surely he will be an honorable priesthood holder - that's all that really matters, isn't it? Wife #1 status not guaranteed.

Seriously, I sorta forgot my wife's name. I have my wife's name down to two names that sound similar. I figure I'll just call them both. I've been scared to ask her again.
