no one knows for sure , but recent excavations of shakespears cottage found four smoking pipes , two os those pipes contained residue of cannabis , i thought this was pretty incriminating

as it happens cannabis was widley used in the ancient world , it has been found in the remains of viking long boats , in anglo saxon cooking pits , it appears on chinese pottery dated 4000 bc , it was commonly sold thru the middle ages in europe as a medicinal compound ,

it is native to central asia and seems to have originated from india as its oldest known names are in transcript

the first place on earth to ban pot is california ,(hurrah for puritan america ) it was banned as an illegal substance in 1915 , other bans spread thru the usa until in 1956 it was banned by state law ,

in this case , if bans work , california should be the cleanest moralist most law abiding place on earth , er well no , if i believe the movies i watch its just the opposite

what really happens with prohibition is that the criminal world gets a whole new money making business and organised crime becomes a wonderfully powerfull worldwide organisation ,

recently i have watched a rash of american movies in which pot smoking adolecents , hi from morning to night , end up after a few orgies killing somebody in a drug crazed bizare and pointless fashion ,

i feel that these types of movies are politically motivated to instill as much fear as possible into the public about cannabis , i don,t see simalar movies about alcohol use , drunken lunatic alcoholics killing people for fun don,t seem to appear .

would it not be nice to see a movie about a herbalist gardener who not only loved smoking pot but growing it as well , hours of beautifull time nuturing and loving plants , learning their differnt strains , there qualities , the powers they contain within them ,settled in perfect peace amongst an aroma of life ,
recently i began reading the cannibis discussion website , the atmosphere was so laid back and undramatic compared to this website which is filled from beginning to end with traumas ,

life is variuos types of conditioned insanity , its all a matter of perspective , but if you think your perfectly sane , your probably not .

Or, you could just hang out at Dogzilla's house for a few hours, sitting in the garden, contemplating the myriad uses for all of the herbs and medicinal plants with which I have landscaped my property. (And thank you Jeff, for giving us attachments! Kisses!) In the meantime, while you are imagining what that might be like, know that I also use plants that not only have medicinal properties, but also attract fluttery critters like hummingbirds, butterflies, dragonflies, lizards, cats and squirrels (tree rats). The air sort of flutters around my place when everything is in full bloom. I am a couple weeks away from full bloom gorgeousness. The attachment is from last spring.

When that happens, there is a sense of peacefulness, serenity and groundedness around my house. You can sit in the rocking chairs on the front porch, or on the swing in the back, and watch the red hawks build their nests in the nearby trees, or listen to the woodpecker drill for her lunch in my dying dogwood tree (I keep it there for her). A couple weeks ago, I watched a mated pair of cardinals build a nest in my Pindo palms.

But no, I don't think Shakespeare was a pot head. It's too hard to write in iambic pentameter when you're stoned. :o Of course, that wouldn't be the voice of experience or anything...
