Local writer examines the LDS Church’s little-talked-about Indian Placement Program in an award-winning novel.
It's good that this is getting subject is getting some attention in Northern Utah. However, the book looks like a big Mo whitewash. Hopefully it doesn't skip over all the terrible crap that happened due to the program, including child molestation that was repeatedly covered up by the church, and the church myth, perpetuated by Kimball, that the kids would and did become white and delightsome.
Anybody know when it's coming out?
