Provo group?

I live in Springville. Former (jack) Mormon, and a seeker of truth.
My whole family is Mormon, 90% of my friends are Mormon. My wife and I are kinda lone wolf types.

But I would like to get plugged into a group of few people who are in the same area and have similar interests.

We are local business owners, and we have a few good friends here. We would like to build on that foundation.

Something I heard (it makes me chuckle when I hear of the Danite stories).

"Benjamin Franklin
We must indeed all hang together, or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately."
Benjamin Franklin

We had a group of friends from a BNI group in Colorado.
There were several friends that gave each other leads and discounts on their services.
It really fortified our business in its beginning years.

Now that we are in Utah, starting over. We would like to make something like that happen again.

Contact me with information for the Provo group please, if anyone is interested in meeting some crazy people (or as my wife would say, "a crazy person")... She is the better half, and I am the lunatic. But we have fun. So let me know if you want to get together with us.

There is an active Provo group. Click on the Support Groups tab near the top of this page and find the Utah Valley Support Group in the list. Click on that title and it will take you to a page where it shows a contact person for that group.

Hi,
I am the new leader of the Utah County post Mormon Support/Social group. We usually meet on the third Sunday of the month at 5:00 PM in the Fellowship hall of the Springville Presbyterian Church. The group is not realated in any way to the Presbyerian chruch, they have just been kind enought to let us meet there. It is much better than being confined to a table at a restaurant. We will not be meeting in February due to a scheduling conflict, but we will be back on March 20th. Feel free to email me at Enlightenedmolly@yahoo.com.

Jeff, would it be possible to switch the contact information on the support group page from Jolimont to my info?

I've been meaning to contact you. Would you like me to include a first name too along with your email address so people will know who to address their inquiries to?

I'm working hard at finishing up some pages on the site for organizational purposes and is the main reason I haven't posted much lately. What I'm working on includes a page for each support group leader to manage directly without my intervention. By logging in with your username and password you will be able to edit your page to include next meeting information and you will have access to a photo album area and a weblog for your group if you like.

It’s in the works. I hope to have it all finished by Monday evening, but we’ll see. In the meantime, email me at jeff.ricks@postmormon.org to let me know if I should post a first name and what it should be.

Thanks for answering this thread! :D

I appreciate the information, and I will plan on seeing everyone in March, unless something comes up.

I have plans to be out of state at the end of the March on business, so depending on what happens with that, I may be gone. So I'll encourage my wife to go if she is able and I am not.

Thanks for putting together a great website, and what an AWESOME group here!
