My family and I spent our Sunday at a birthday party at McDonalds and then at the family fun festival at the Busch beer factory in NH. (I'm so glad I could accept the b-day party invite instead of having to have the "Sabbath day holy" talk with new neighbors! No one in our new neighborhood knows or suspects we are (ex)momon! It is great!)
It was such a happy and relaxing day! I can't believe we wasted so many Sundays locked inside ugly concrete block church buildings for so many years!!!!:Puking

I spent my Sabaath day hiking along a lake shore in Grand Teton National Park with my wife and youngest daughter. It was a glorious day, and definately not one to be wasted caged within the four walls of someone's poorly conceived notion of where God would want us to consider her creations...
The cathedral of the mountains is infinately more majestic than any stained glass panel or walnut pulpit that a human crafstman can create. I prefer to spend my "spirit time" in contact with the source of my being, not listening to some white-shirt heap guilt upon me.
Yes, life is better out here, isn't it?

I remember so well the exhilaration of those first few months of postmo sundays. What utter delight. I was almost overwhelmed with the feeling of being free. It remains to this day although I think of it much less. Congrats on joining the party of regular life out here with all us vile sinner sabbath breakers.
I spent the day building a new bed. Platform. I have wanted one for some time. Then I watched football, ate potato chips, and drank some nice light beer.
Ain't the sabbath great?

We slept in. Played with our dog. Did some light shopping. Then came home and drank a little too much wine. :p
We refer to the icky bored to tears feeling that "observing" the sabbath gave us as the Sunday Malaise. We no longer suffer from it!:D

I spent my Sunday running from one end of a continent to another. Once I reached my destination, I polymorphed into a bear and began killing people. After murdering 2-300 humans, I ran back to my city and sold a bunch of armor.
Then I witnessed 250 druids perform a line dance.
Then I logged out of World of Warcraft and into Real Life.
