Being that the semester is over and I have finally submitted my grades, I had time this morning to read some of the good stuff on the site. (By the way, lots of thanks to Jeff and all those who have put this wonderful site together. I have referred many people to it when they seem ready to grow beyond the confines of polarized thought.) I read the letters to the editor concerning DNA and the BOM. I had a good laugh at the various writers indicating their levels of growth through the models of development I teach in psychology classes. What fun.

I did have an intriguing thought. I wonder how long it will be before we see a new defense strategy begin in this great state. We will call it the "God changed my DNA strategy." I suppose this could be used to get lots of people off the hook for crimes loaded with DNA evidence. After all, if the "faith beats science" notion reigns supreme here in Utah we should see this strategy being hugely effective. I'll watch for it.

Hi Ed! Nice to hear from you. I wonder if people know you're the same Ed listed as an author in the website's magazine. Every comment I've come across about your paper has been good. I read one just the other day on another website written by someone who's opinion I value where he called it "one of the best essay's on the dysfunction of Mormon culture (Shame and the Destruction of Agency). "

Thanks for letting us use it in the magazine.

Jeff

I was watching a TV that was talking about the revolutionary idea in physics about parallel universes. I thought, now there is the perfect out for all Mormon problems. So what if there is no evidence of the BoM in this universe it happened in a parallel universe and thus is still true!!
