I have to tell you, some of those inadequate feelings of being a member sometimes still prevail. I at times feel very inadequate on boards like these and just in general. There is always someone smarter, wittier, funnier, etc, I think a lot of this stems from being a member for some of us. How many times as active members did we repeatedly feel inadequate? (not really asking, just thinking out loud)

I've noticed there are a lot of new members on this board. I know it may be difficult for some of you to start a thread or say what's on your mind because some of those inadequate feelings may still linger or maybe for some other reasons.

In the little time I've spent here, I really feel Jeff is striving to create a comfortable safe place here. To come, open up, share with each other what we do have, what we do have to offer as Post Mo's. A place where we can focus on our talents, our knowledge, our experiences, etc instead of inadequacies.

I have no idea who you are, Jeff, but thanks. And for the others, I am really interested in you and what you have to say and look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for the feedback and encouragement! And thank you to everyone for your participation. When we get more of the organizational issues in place I'll have more time to participate here where you can get to know me better and we can all get to know each other better. In the mean time you can get to know a little more about me by taking a look at this page I put together over a year ago for some of my online friends to take a gander at:

http://www.post-mormons.com/temp/ps.htm

I’m in the process of staffing our management slots and so far have four of five of our board member slots filled. That's an area where I'm being very careful about who is selected to fill those slots because it’s the board of directors as a whole (not me, myself and I) that will guide this community on into the future.

We have a need for someone with accounting and bookkeeping skills. Secretarial skills from time to time could be put to use too. We appreciate anyone who wants to contribute but are looking for people with experience, not just people with a little time to spare. If anyone would like to join the community management and has the skills we are looking for please email me at:

management@postmormon.com

Keep in mind that this is being organized so no one person will be burdened with any more than they have time for. I’d like the think that 1 to 3 hours maximum per month for any one person is all that will be required, for most positions but any more time a person is willing to contribute beyond that is certainly welcome!

Jeff

And your sons are hotties, as well. Too bad I'm too old for 'em! They're just my type (musical arty types). :D
