I'm bored sooooooooooooo
I am curious, what kind of underwear did y'all graduate to after shedding those hideous garments???
And what was your first experience like shopping for REAL underwear in a REAL store. How many times did you look around to see if any ward members "saw" you?

You just come right out and ask, don't you? :)
Okay, I'll play. I like boxer-briefs. It's funny, but I still prefer them longer on my legs. I don't know if that's a carry-over from garment days or what.
Now my WIFE'S underwear is MUCH more interesting...and I'll stop right there in case she should happen to read this...
Let's just say I have been the happy beneficiary of the Victoria's Secret store in our mall... :p

:D I think that's why a lot of marriages are better than ever POST mo. Hubby likes boxer briefs, too but the shorter ones. I've had fun with the variety we women get to choose from. I haven't had any complaints from hubby.

I have to admit:
This being my first winter out of my G's....I am cold. Layers...lots of layers.
The summer was great though.....It is kinda fun to have colored undies now though.....I don't even own any whities.

Boxer briefs for me too. At first I wore boxer briefs and a T shirt. I felt like I needed to ease out of the garments feel and that was the closest I could come up with. But I did not want to wear garments anymore! What they represented had become disgusting to me. I hope I don't get too personal here but at the urging of a woman I quite liked who I was dating for awhile I tried commando but quickly gave that up. I felt like I needed backup in case I forgot to zip up. :o So I'm back to boxer briefs. The only thing I don't like about them is they show a ridgeline on my thighs through my pants and I don't want to be mistaken as LDS! ;)
Oh, and I do remember feeling guilty shopping for normal underwear. It probably took 3 or 4 months to get over that.

Years ago I was in Utah skiing and I saw the funniest bumper sticker.
IF YOU THINK THE LIQUOR LAWS HERE ARE FUNNY, YOU SHOULD SEE THEIR UNDERWEAR!!!!
I went to a knee length short and still have some t-tops I wear with white shirts. Why? Uh well, I have clients that I do not want any questions from. I do not want it to upset our relationship!! Sorry to admit it, but that is a fact.
Getting real underwear was so strange. Never the less it was very liberating!! Not gonna tell you what my girlfriend wears!! :D I will tell you this though! She looks so hot!!! ;)

I am loving all the comments. Lisa, I do miss the warmth of them in the winters.
I love my tank tops in the summer. I love to be outside and I remember well suffering through the 90 degree heat with g's. I always wanted a pool so I could walk around in my bathing suit and not be questioned about it.

I remember my first outing to buy real underwear. I mean, I had some I wore when I went to the gym but they didn't count.
I stocked up my first trip to the store. Purple bras, pink bras, multicolored....woooohoooo! I was at Target (this was before I got the guts to go into Victoria Secret for anything more than body lotion) and ran into an old member acquaintance from years before. She was in line behind me and I was buying tons of "worldly" underwear. We chatted as my items were rung up. She didn't say anything but kept an eye on my items. The clerk held up a really cute bra and commented on how she was going to go buy one of them. I said outloud I couldn't wait to wear it and I am sure hubby would be pleased.
I was uneasy. Hubby at the time was still clinging on to his church beliefs. He insisted I was uneasy because of the Holy Ghost telling me it was wrong. He forgot all about the HG when I put them on, though. heeeeee

Wow, after reading all the responses to the "what kind of underwear" post, I realize I'm still not in a position to be posting here. I think. My hubby does not wear garments. he's mormon, but . . . it's all moot to me unless it happens, I guess. but i do wonder about those clothes. geez, i can't imagine basing anything on the clothing I wear. it's surreal to me. i hope i don't have to deal with this in the future.

You are as welcome to disclose your underwear choice as the rest of us goof-balls! :o
