We will be having a family camp out at the Whiting Campground up Spanish Fork Canyon on July 8th and 9th. There were still sites available when I made reservations yesterday. I have reserved site number 11, which is a double site that can have up to 20 people on it. (As I was told by the campground host.) We already have 3 families on that site, but there are several other double sites, and single ones too. Some of the sites are reservation only, others are first come first served. The reservation web site is: www.reserveusa.com
The numbers that are missing on the map are first come first served sites.
If you are interested in joining us, you might want to make reservations soon. We will have a great time! The site isn't too far away, and it has lots of shade.
Hope to see you there! you can contact me with questions: enlightenedmolly@yahoo.com

Should this say JULY 8th and 9th since June 8th and 9th are in the past?
This sounds like a lot of fun!

There is still time if you haven't made reservations! I plan on going up early in the afternoon tomorrow and can get some of the first come first serve sites. If you are interested in me getting one of these sites for you, please let me know. Remember, we can have 10 people on each site, and 2 vehicles. Additional vehicles are extra.
I am trying to see what people want to do during the day while we are camping. You might want to bring bug spray . I have some one looking into some kind of water activity. I am not sure if there is a lake or reservoir up that canyon. Is anyone familiar with the area?
Everyone could bring thier favorite games. If someone has a poker set, we could get a good game of poker going. It will be hot this weekend, but the campground is well shaded. Does anyone have a Vollyball set?
I am much better with planning tasty food than I am activities. I am not a hiker, and I know there are others who don't want to hike, so I am trying to plan something fun for those of us left behind. Any ideas are welcome.

This sounds like so much fun...I really wish we could be there. I would LOVE a good game of poker or blackjack and even better Texas Hold 'em
Let us know how it goes!

I made a mistake and said the campground was in Spanish Fork Canyon. It is actually in Mapleton Canyon. They are very close to each other. Sorry about the confusion.
