I noticed this morning that SilverFox has graduated from "Member" to "Senior Member" as indicated by the rank assigned to her name when you open her posts. I should let you know that those ranks are assigned automatically by the forum software according to number of posts. I believe the sequence of those ranks are, “new member”, “member”, “senior member”, and I’m not sure what comes after that. Maybe, “time to move on member.” ;)
I should also let you know that about two weeks ago SilverFox agreed to be the forum manager for the community. Exactly what that entails is in the process of being defined but includes keeping the conversation happening and civil, and developing ways of maintaining the quality of the forum for the future. We’re very pleased that she has agreed to help us as a community in this regard.
Among other things I’m still working through how best to announce all our board and staff members while maintaining a degree of anonymity in some cases. I will say that all five board seats are now filled. Expect more information in February. There are several things that require attention at the same time while ramping up our community. We’re progressing, albeit slowly.
