As I continue the Joseph's Wive's thread, I am giving a certain amount of thought to those who were poygamous wives.

It occured to me that these women made tremendous sacrifices to the faith, but as yet there is no monument to honor them.

I wonder why?

One can only think that if there was a polyandrous past in the church, there would be plenty of monuments honoring the sacrifices made by these honorable and self sacrificing men.

What do you call this? See in the foreground are two of Joseph's wives. A little further back we see a young woman explaining to her former beau that she is now married to Joseph. Behind them we see Emma searching for her husband and there behind the bushes we glimpse Joseph secretly marrying another wife! It's all in how you look at it!
